Daniel "Adam" James

Daniel “Adam” James, 47 of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at his residence.

Adam was born on July 09, 1972 in Elkhart, Indiana. Adam, was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School in 1991 and was a former employee of WVDOH. He loved watching football, gardening, music, collectables and had a love for animals.

Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Clark and paternal grandparents Earl and Opha James. Special cousins, Lori Gushwa and Jeff Otey; Aunts and Uncles, Barbara and Bobby Otey and Cecil and Nancy Smith.

Adam is survived by his Son, Jeff James and fiancé Casey of Bluefield, West Virginia. One granddaughter Summer Aubree James of Bluefield, West Virginia; Mother and stepfather Peggy and Richard Csanyi of Peterstown, West Virginia; Sisters, Tammy Mutterback of Peterstown, West Virginia; Danette Gearheart and husband Alvin of Bluefield, West Virginia. Cousins, Tim Otey of Nemours, West Virginia and Greg Smith of Bluewell, West Virginia as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held for Adam on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor Randy Clark officiating the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Bailey, Rodney Scott, Ernie Morgan, Glen Powell, Zach Elder and Zen Clements.

The James family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
