Dana Lynn Wolford

Dana Lynn Wolford, 43, of Bluefield, West Virginia lost her fight to cancer on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Dana was born on September 01, 1974 in Warren, MI to Dana Ray Wolford of Princeton, WV and the late Kathie Oma Ratliff. Dana was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Wife. She was a former member of the Oakvale Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her baby boy Jess Spears; two Brothers William Paul Wolford and Roger Clyde Ratliff; one sister Michelle Marie Wolford Lafon; and two grandchildren, Vaylin Williams and Brook Spears.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Ruby Ellen Spears of Bluefield, WV and companion Matthew Williams of Middletown, DE, and Laura LeAnn Spears of Bluefield, WV; one son Jeremy Dennis Spears of Oakvale, WV and son in law Derek Anthony Lewis of Oakvale, WV. Grandchildren Dominic Alexander Spears and Nevaeh LeAnn Grace Zornes. Father Dana Ray Wolford of Princeton, WV; her Sister Melissa Ann Bartley Cabbell; brothers Charlie Lincoln Wolford, and Danny Ray Wolford. Her ex-husbands Jerald Dennis Spears and William Antonio Hoston; and several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.

Funeral service will he held for Dana on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale, WV with Pastor Terry Lambert officiating the service. Burial follow on Thursday, March 01, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at New Zion Church Cemetery in Cheesy Creek, WV where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers those wishing to attend the Graveside service are asked to meet at the church by 10:30am.

The Wolford family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 after 6:00PM at the church.
