Dana Michelle Jessee Vanblaricom 42, of Bramwell, WV went to be with her Lord & Savior at her home on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Dana was born May 13, 1977 in Roanoke, VA. She was the daughter of Peggy and James (Jimmy) Perry Jr, (Stepdad) and her biological father Jerry Lee Jessee, Sr of Richmond, VA.
Dana will be missed by many. She had a heart full of love for everyone and she took pride in helping everyone that needed her. She made sure everyone was pleased with what she did for them and if something wasn’t right she would do it all over again. She loved everyone she met. She didn’t meet a stranger, Dana fought a valiant battle with metastatic breast cancer, even though cancer took her life she never once complained. She knew she was a winner either way and if Dana could say anything to you, I’m sure she would say prepare your way to come and be with her.
Dana was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Sykes, Sr and Gladys and step grandfather, Kenneth Twitchell; Paternal grandfather, Clarence Jessee; Also, stepfather Darrell Lawson, father in law, Ronnie Vanblaricom and paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Juanita Knight and husband Bill.
Dana was survived by the Love of her life Matthew Vanblaricom and fur baby Chloe. Her mother Peggy and Stepfather James (Jimmy) Perry, Jr. of Bramwell, WV, Father, Jerry Lee Jessee, Sr of Richmond, VA. Her Mother in law Debbie Vanblaricom of Rocky Gap, VA. Her sister Sheila Campbell and husband Allen of Statesville, NC and her Brother Jerry Jessee, Jr. and wife Amanda of Bramwell, WV. Dana leaves behind several nieces, nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles who dearly loved her.
The family and friends would like to say thank you James Perry, Jr for taking very special care of Dana through it all, never leaving her side. Dana had many friends, she never met a stranger. Dana had a very special friend Diana Samples of TN and very special friend’s Mark & Digger of the TV show The Moonshiners. As well as a very special friend LaJerias Barnes of Winston-Salem, NC. Last but not least, she wouldn’t want to leave out her very special smoking and talking buddy Christopher Rose of Bramwell, WV.
Funeral service will be held for Dana on Monday, March 02, 2020 at 1:00pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Rev. David Kirby officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, WV where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, March 02, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
