Dale Dayton Davis

Dale Dayton Davis, 84, of Nemours, WV, passed on Monday, February 3, 2025, at his home. 

Born April 6, 1940, in Shinston, WV, he was the son of the late Berchie Scott and Florence E. Swiger Davis. Dale was a resident of the Bluefield area for over 35 years. Dale worked most of his life selling X-Ray equipment and eventually became the head of X-Ray sales in Jeanette, PA and Fairmont, WV. He attended Fairview Christian Community Church.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his son, Mark Davis, and his stepson, Timmy Day. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ethel Marie Davis, of the home; daughter, Diane Wysong and husband Van Wysong, Jr., of Hurricane, WV; and two grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Pastor Lary Dyer and Pastor Blake Bivens officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
