Curtis John "Nick" Miller

Curtis John “Nick” Miller, 79, of Lombardy Road, VA, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the home of his son in Princeton.

Born on January 5, 1940 in Jenkinjones, WV, he was a son of the late Buster Lee and Mildred Johnson Miller. He had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 56 years and was a member of the Tip Top Church of God. He was retired from the mining industry and repaired mining belts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Zina Mae Miller; and two brothers, Junior and Glen Miller.

Survivors include his two sons, Curtis Nick (Angie) Miller, of Princeton and John Edward Miller of Statesville, NC; grandchildren, Chris (Megan) Miller and Josh Miller; two brothers, Harold Lee (Jean) Miller of Bluefield, VA and Danny Miller of Princeton; and sisters, Wanda (Jim) Coe of Bluefield, WV, Delsia (Jim) Dillon of Jenkinjones, WV, Nancy (Jimbo) Palmer of Bluewell, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Jim Coe officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Johnny Miller, Nicky Miller, Chris Miller, Josh Miller, Sonny Miller and Tim Lawson will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 2:00-3:00 at the funeral home.
