Curtis Dwayne Bishop

Curtis Dwayne Bishop, 31, of Kimball, WV, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Welch Community Hospital.  Born August 19, 1990 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Jack Bishop and the late Wanda Mullins Bishop. Curtis love football and basketball, especially the Atlanta Falcons and the West Virginia Mountaineers. In addition to his mother, Curtis was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ellen Bishop and his uncle, Johnny Ray Mullins.

Those left to cherish Curtis’ memory are his father, Jack Bishop of Kimball, WV; grandfather, Leroy Mullins of Vivian, WV; brother, Matthew Bishop and wife, Tabatha of Kimball, WV; sister, Lisa Bishop of Premier, WV; nephews, Bradley Bishop and Mikey Seabolt; niece, and Katelyn Hatcher and husband, Austin. Curtis also had many friends and family and was beloved by many.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Angie Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at Rock House Cemetery  at Carswell Hollow where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.
