On Friday, August 10, 2018, God called another sweet Angel home. Courtney Danielle Conley, 17, of Montcalm, West Virginia was killed tragically in a car accident.
Courtney was born on March 08, 2001 in Bluefield, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Danny and Teressa Duncan Conley.
Courtney was a senior at Montcalm High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a beautiful young lady who touched everyone she met. She was a humble person who always put others first. She, loved the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, swim and bonfires. Courtney loved to hang out with her brothers, friends and family. She had a smile on her face all the time that would always light up the room she walked in. She had a great love for her dogs, Honey Baby and Roscoe.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather John Bert Conley; Maternal grandfather Billy Gene Duncan and maternal grandmother Martha Kaye Duncan.
Courtney is survived by her father and mother Danny and Teressa Conley of the home; one brother Tyler Daniel Conley of the home; Thomas Watkins of Lorton Lick who was like a brother; Justin Gore who was a grown in brother. Paternal grandmother Mildred Conley of Sandlick Road. Special cousins Beth Carver and P.J. Peavey of Montcalm, WV and Emberly Bailey of Sandlick Road and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Evangelist Earnest James Folks officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Conley Private Family Cemetery on Browning-Lambert Mountain with Thomas Watkins, Justin Gore, P.J. Peavey, Dallas Conley, Greg Kinnley, Seth Roberts, Matt Carver and Sherman Conley serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family are invited to come celebrate her life on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
