Connie Poore

Connie Kirby Lusk Poore, 78 of Montcalm, WV, passed away surrounded by her family on September 11, 2020. She fought a good fight, finished her course, and now has received her Crown of Righteousness. She was born on July 11, 1942 to the late Walter and Gladys Dillon Kirby in Freeman, WV.

Connie sang gospel music with the Kirby Family for 25 years.  Then she continued singing at Deliverance Temple Church where she was a faithful Choir member.  She loved church, singing, and 4 wheeling with Freddy and Brenda.

In addition to her parents Connie was preceded in death by her husband Danny Lusk, two children Toby and Sandy Poore, granddaughter Sandy Beggs, and brothers Larry, Kenny, and Denny Kirby.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Tammy Stump and husband Billy.  Brothers Freddy (Brenda) Kirby, Tom (Marie) Kirby, Randall (Sharon) Kirby, David (Margaret) Kirby and sister Donna (Dave) Lusk. Sister n laws Betty and Terri Kirby 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Deliverance Temple Church with Pastor David Kirby and Dave Lusk officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at 10:00 am until the time of service.
