Clyde M. "CJ" Casey, II

Clyde M. Casey II “C.J.”, 39, of Bluefield, WV, passed Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Born November 15, 1983, in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Bernice Coeburn Casey and the late Clyde Milton Casey Sr. C.J. was a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area and worked as a mechanic. He had a passion for his grandson, Stetson; he loved taking care of his family and close friends. C.J. spent his life working on his classic cars, from a young age, he was behind the wheel of anything he could climb into.

In addition to his father, C.J. was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Casey.

Those left to cherish C.J.’s memory are his mother, Bernice Coeburn Casey and Sherman Green of Falls Mills, VA; daughter, Destiny Marie Casey and her mother, Shannon Shattuck of Sevierville, TN; grandson, Stetson Baylor Casey; brother, Stevie Lusk of Princeton, WV; sister, Melissa Laham of VA; nieces, Shelby and Haley McCullen; and special pawpaw, Robert Cochran.

Funeral services will be held, Monday, October 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Pastor Brent Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call an hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home for services.
