Claudine Perkins

Leora Claudine Perkins, 85, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Princeton Health Care Center.

Born on October 25, 1935 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Oran Hershel and Juanita Vivian Meadows Munsey. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a graduate of Bramwell High School and the McClain’s Business College. She formerly worked as a medical secretary for the Bluefield Sanitarium. She was a member of the Airport Road Church of God. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eldon Munsey.

Survivors include her nephew Steven (Kathy) Munsey of Savannah, GA and a niece, Teresa (Ray) Billings of Wytheville, VA; and a sister in law, Priscilla Munsey of Bluefield; a great niece, Tiffany (Robert) Michael of Louisa, VA; and a great nephew, Matthew Munsey of Raleigh, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Dana Hamrick officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the graveside at service time.
