Clarence Joe Hall, Sr.

Clarence Joe Hall Sr., 76, of Bluefield, WV, passed Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at WVU Medicine PCH Bluefield ER. 

Born August 20, 1948, in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Carl and Annie Blevins Hall. Clarence was a lifelong resident of Bluefield. He retired from Haun Motor in Green Valley, WV, working in the maintenance department. Clarence also worked in the maintenance department at the Mercer County Airport. 

In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara L. Hall; brothers, Tombo Hall, Freddy Hall, and David Hall Sr.; sisters, Helen Pruitt and Betty Hall; two great grandkids Bentley and Brantley Mitchem; and his best buddy Diesel. 

Those left to cherish Clarence's memory are his children, Robert Hall, Clarence Hall Jr. and wife Brandy, and Patricia Clark, all of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Angela Hall, Leandra Hall, Kacie Hall, Madison Hall, Hannah Hall, and Anthony Allen; great grandchildren, Braelynn Hall, Malik Harris Jr, Harmony Edmonds, A’vana Hall, Braxton Allen, Kyson Jones, Mi’rakle Hall, Kingston Edmonds, Kalin Jones, and one great granddaughter on the way; brothers, Junior Hall and Charlie Blevins; and sisters, Elizabeth Dillon, Geneva Smith, Christine Jennings, and Shirley McKinney. 

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV, with Travis Jones, Nicholas Mitchem, Malik Harris, Tyric Edmonds, Joe Hall, and Estill Proffitt serving as pallbearers. Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
