Cinda Clara Peck

Cinda Clara Peck, 50, of Dillow Road, Bluefield, WV, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital of CAMC Memorial in Charleston, WV.

Born September 20, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Travis Wayne and Thelma Grethel Basham Peck. Cinda worked as a general manager at Taco Bell in Princeton and Bluefield for 9 years, she also managed Great American Cookie Co. in Mercer Mall. Cinda was educated in Mercer County and attended Point of Contact Ministries in Bluefield, WV.

She was a devoted sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She enjoyed her animals, two Bassett Hounds, Rupert and Annie, and her loving cat, Sophie. She also enjoyed shopping online, reading, making people laugh, and the love she shared with two little girls, Addy Clower and Luna Polland.

In addition to her parents, Cinda was preceded in death by brother, Alvin Hubbard; great niece, Brionna Moore; grandparents, James Cleveland and Mithie Clara Basham, and Eckel and Margaret Peck.

She will be sadly missed by her surviving family members, brother, Travis Peck, Jr. of Princeton, WV; sisters, Lisa Jones and husband Bobby Jones of Bluefield, WV, and Sharon Peck and partner Jackie Kimbleton of Princeton, WV, Karen Smith and husband Lewis of Princeton, WV, Rita Hughes and husband Kenneth of Hensley, WV, and Melanie Perdue of Fairmont, WV; nieces and nephews, Danillia Moore, Trista Smith, Destiny Michoud; Micheala Jones, Ariell Simpson, Matt Jones, Tyler Jones, Nathanial Smith, Jeramiaha Greene, and David Gilley Jr.; great-nephews, Oakley Gilley and Cameron Simpson; and longtime Christian best friend, “Mama” Berkley Hopkins and Cinda’s childhood best friend, Mellissa Helmandollar; and a host of aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held, Monday, September 25, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Point of Contact Miniseries in Bluefield, WV, with Eddie Johnson officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of services.

At Cinda’s wishes, she will be laid to rest beside her mother with her loving pets, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lashmeet, WV.
