Christopher 'Finbob' Finley, 39, of Princeton, West Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 18, 2023.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory after his unexpected passing; his wife Adrienne Finley; together they had four precious children: Skylar 7 who loved fishing and eating dinner with her daddy. Madison 4, has her daddy's love for music and his spunk. 20-month-old twins Willow and Landon; Willow had her daddy wrapped around her finger and melted his heart with her laugh. Landon was his daddy's pride and joy, his only son, who he looked forward to being fishing buddies with. He was a beloved son to parents Roger and Pamela Finley of Princeton, West Virginia. He leaves behind his paternal grandparents Harold and Wanda Finley. He was a cherished son-in-law to Brad and Tammy Bailey of Montcalm, West Virginia; and brother-in-law to Austin & Tara Harris, Jared Bailey, Lakyn Bailey, and Cassy Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Verlin and Hilda Jones.
He graduated from Princeton Senior High School in 2001. He worked for Cleveland Cliffs as an underground section boss. He loved working with fellow brothers in coal, and took pride in his job..." Take it to the gap!"
Chris was a Christian and part of the family of Memorial Church of Christ, who grieve alongside his family. He was baptized on June 20, 2021. Chris was a loving father and husband who did everything for his family and led his children to Jesus by example.
He enjoyed bass fishing in his free time and taking his boat out. He spent his free time taking his family to church and enjoying Sundays together.
His passing has affected so many people, he was loved by all, and always willing to help a friend. His family will be honoring his memory on August 26, 2023, at Craven-Shires Funeral Home; visitation will be held at 1:00 followed by a funeral led by Rod Hedrick. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton immediately following.
