Charles Williams Whitteker

Charles Williams Whitteker, age 70, of Princeton, WV died on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village.

Born on November 6, 1948 in Princeton, WV, he was a son of the late Calvin “Lee” and Edna Williams Whitteker. He had lived in Mercer County his entire life and was retired as an area manager for State Electric Supply Company with 30 years of service. He was a member of Carr Memorial United Methodist Church. He was on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army and was on the Advisory Board for Bluefield State College. He was a graduate of Montcalm High School.

Son: Charles Lee Whitteker of Bluewell, WV

Daughter: Kristen Fields and husband Brad of Concord, NC

Sister: Sandra G. Martin of Princeton, WV

Grandchildren: Easton and Maddox Whitteker

Nieces and Nephews: Ronnie Martin, II, Becky Meadows, J.D. Damewood

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Clark, Steve Swetun, Kyle Eder, Mike Smiley, Glen Brinson, Jeff Glover, Dave Gravely, Justin Joseph, Randall Cavaness and Kevin Harshbarger. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Employees of State Electric Supply Company in Bluefield and Princeton. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service
