Charles William Pruitt

Charles William Pruitt, 87, of Nemours Valley Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his home.

Born on June 4, 1935 in Nemours, he was a son of the late Starling and Mattie Lyons Pruitt. He was a retired motor winder from National Electric Coil. He was a member of the Bramwell Masonic Lodge AF&AM #45 and the Pocahontas Electrical Mechanics Association. He was also an avid wood-worker.

He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ann Wimmer Pruitt of the home; a son, Kevin Pruitt of Hinton, VA; 8 grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Lusk.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Ted Anders officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell where Masonic graveside services will be performed by the Bramwell Masonic Lodge.

Friends may call on Tuesday prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
