Charles Melvin (Bub) Duncan, 58, of Asheboro, NC, and formerly of Twin Branch in McDowell County, slipped away on Monday, November 28, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be forever loved and remembered.Born on December 2, 1958 in Welch, he was a son of Martha Wooten Lester the late Melvin Duncan. He had been an employee for 24 years and was a machine operator for the Oliver Rubber Company in Asheboro. He was a very humble man. He loved spending time with his family and going to the movies, but his favorite pastime was music.
