Carolyn L. Neal, 62, of Bluefield (Green Valley), West Virginia passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia. Carolyn was born on March 27, 1955 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Clifford Bailey and Clara May Cornett Bailey Sells. She had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 25 years and was of the Protestant faith. Carolyn has been a past employee of Princeton Community Hospital and was the current kitchen manager for Health South in Princeton, West Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Kevin Scott Thomas. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Warren Neal of the home. One son Clifford Cole Thomas and Partner Philip Lanzo of Charlotte, North Carolina; three step daughters Alecia Lester and husband David of Bluefield, West Virginia, Melissa Hatfield and husband Eddie of Princeton, West Virginia and Kara Burnett and husband Greg of Bluewell, West Virginia. One brother Jesse Bailey and wife Robin of Duhring, West Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 01, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Minister Frank Watkins officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The Neal family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
