Carol Sue Shrader

Carol Sue (Browning) Shrader, born on May 16, 1955, in Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2024.  

Carol graduated from Bluefield High School.  Upon graduation,  she dedicated her professional life to Brown Edward's & Company, where she worked diligently until her retirement.

Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Fitzhugh Browning and cherished by her mother, Ruby Watkins. She was proceeded in death by two grand daughters Stephanie and Kayla Bailey. She leaves behind her husband James (Jim) Shrader and step children Dennis Shrader and wife Shonda of Bluefield,WV,  Sherry Miles and husband Jeff of Peterstown, VA and grandchildren Jessica Ball, Thomas Stump, Renee Shrader, Presley Shrader, Erica Bailey, Justin Miles, Jessica Miles, and 11 great grandchildren. 

Carol will be missed by her two sisters, Linda Johnson and Myra Turner and husband Rock. Carol was a proud aunt to her nephews and nieces, Mikael Safewright, Cyndi Johnson, Michelle Taylor, and Andrew Thompson, along with six great nephews, two great nieces, and one great-great niece.

To honor Carol’s wishes, there will only be gravesite service and be held privately for family only.
