Carol Lee Sheets

Carol Lee Sheets, 86, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Princeton Healthcare Center.

Born on February 15, 1938 in Goodwill, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow W. Grim, Sr. and Lillian Williams Grim. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and attended the First Baptist Church of Bluewell. She had formerly worked at the Dollar Store.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Leonard Roscoe “Sack” Sheets and a brother, Woodrow W. Grim, Sr.

Survivors include her daughters, Alesha (Timmy) Black of Bluefield and Terri (David) Pauley of Bluefield; 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Monday, from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home.
