Carol Ilene Overbaugh

Carol Ilene Overbaugh, age 72, of Kade Hollow Road, Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital,

Born on August 9, 1946, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Oakley and Florence Hawks Davidson. She was a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a member of Deliverance Temple. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Davidson and a granddaughter, Sydney Paitsel.

Husband of 54 years: Jimmy Overbaugh of the home

Daughters: Angela Willis and husband Tolson of Apex, NC
Tammy Paitsel of Glenwood, WV

Sisters: Barbara Spearman and husband Don of Mt. Vernon, OH
Pauline Brewster and husband Jesse of Baltimore, MD

4 Grandchildren: Chase and Brooke Fortune and Skylar and Dakota Paitsel

Step-Grandsons: Zack, Logan, and Bladen Willis

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
