Carl Junior Sayers

Carl Junior Sayers, 60, of Lashmeet, West Virginia passed on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.                 Carl was born on March 17, 1957 in Michigan to the late Carl Wycliff Sayers and Marie Moore Sayers. He had been a resident of Lashmeet for the past ten years and attended the Church of God. Carl was a former truck driver working in the asphalt business.                 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Christopher Sayers.                 Left to cherish Carl’s memory is his daughter Lisa Morris and husband Jody of Princeton, WV, three sisters Patsy Goins and husband Kenny Sr., of Bluefield, VA, Dora Houck of Springville, VA and Betty Sayers of Bluefield, VA. Two brothers Teddy Sayers of Bluefield, VA and Dennis Beavers and wife Stacy of Christiansburg, VA. Five grandchildren Auston Sayers of Bluefield, WV, Cody Burks of Princeton, WV, Holly Burks of Princeton, WV, Evan Burks of Princeton, WV and Jody Morris Jr. of Princeton, WV and three great grandchildren.                 Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.                 The Sayers family will be receiving friends and relatives on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                 In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Carl’s honor to the funeral home to help with expenses.                   Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
