Brian Scott Shires

Brian “Scott” Shires, 54, of Maple Dale Lane, Bluefield, WV, passed away on April 23, 2018 at his home.

Born on march 2, 1964 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Clyde Sidney and Opal Lee Persinger Shires. He had been a lifelong resident of Green Valley and was a graduate of Bluefield High School. He was a retired computer technician with 15 years of service from Frontier Communications and was a member of the Greenview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his brother, Stephen Shires; a nephew, Larry Shires; and A great nephew, Lucas Shires, all of Kernersville, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Friday from 12:00-1:00PM at the funeral home.
