Brenda Marlene Warden

Brenda Marlene Warden, age 76 of 135 Rainbow Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on December 9, 2018.
Born on October 31, 1942 in Northfork, WV. She was the daughter of the late Heath and Ruby Marshall. Brenda was the devoted wife of William L. Warden. They were recognizable members in the community of Bluewell, where they owned and operated Warden’s Market for many years. She was also associated with the Church of Latter Day Saints in Bluefield, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Mark Warden, and her brothers, Curtis Marshall, Don Marshall, Doug Marshall, Melvin Marshall, and her sister, Patty Nichols.
Left to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 56 years, W.L. Warden; her son, Jeffrey Warden and his wife Lisa Warden of Bluewell, WV; two daughters, Donna Sarver of Princeton, WV, Sabrina Clark of Narrows, VA; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; one brother, Tim Marshall of Rt. 20, Princeton, WV; two sisters, Jodean Ratcliff of Leeburgs, FL, and Letta Baughman of Montcalm, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Bishop Aron Paget and Elder Bill Hanks officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00-3:00 at the funeral home.
