Brenda Lee Farthing

Brenda Lee Farthing, 70, of Dupont Street, Bluefield, WV, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving husband of 40 years, Larry Farthing, best friend, Eva Nicewander and cousin Karen Bowling.

Brenda was bon on June 24, 1949 in Nemours and was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart and Louise Posten Dillon; brother, Emory Sexton; sisters, Margaret Roland and Phyllis Mutterback; and daughter, Matilda A. Lockett.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband, best friend and soulmate, Larry Farthing, include Teresa Richardson; brother and sister in law and nephew, Alvin, Eunice and Roger Sexton of Bramwell; and her church family from Brushfork Baptist Church.

It was Brenda’s wishes to be cremated and will have no services.
