Brenda Louise Fanning

Brenda Louise Fanning, 73, of Fuse Court (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at GlenWood Park Retirement Village.

Born on September 21, 1945 in Davy, she was a daughter of Lois McNew Thomas of Glenwood Park and the late Jack Thomas. She had been a resident of Bluewell for most of her life and was a member of the First Church of God on Airport Road. She was retired from Wee-Tots in Bluefield as a childcare director.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Fanning; and 2 brothers, Johnnie and Jackie Thomas.

Survivors in addition to mother, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Eddie) Keen of Bluefield, and Cynthia (Robert) Stewart of Bluefield; and two grandsons, Dennis Keen of Lynchburg, VA, and Isaac Keen of Bluefield.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Dana Hambrick officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
