Bobby D. Thomason, age 67, of Bluefield, WV passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 from an accident in Princeton, WV at his job site.
Born on October 25, 1950, in Princeton, WV, he was a son of the late Billy D. and Ruth O’Donnell Thomason. He was employed by the City of Princeton. He was a hard worker and had worked in construction all of his adult life. He had a passion for running heavy equipment, a job at which he excelled. He was also a former employee for Jack Davidson’s Construction, Compton Construction and for Dick Preservati. He also loved working on the farm with his brother, Richard. He was a graduate of Princeton High School and was a member of the Smith’s Chapel Church of the Brethren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Hope Thomason and a brother, Randolph Thomason.

He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday September 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Jim Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Bill Harman, Cody Harman, Winston Hubbard, Chad Harman, Bruce Taylor and Henry Bailey.
Friends may call on Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
