Bobby Ray Clark, Sr.

Bobby Ray Clark, Sr., 67, of Monroe, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Born November 3, 1954, he was a son of the late Junior Lee and Lena J. Spicer Clark. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for the Board of Education in Monroe, NC. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one grandson, Jordan Clark; brothers, Roger Clark, Billy Clark, and Steven Clark. Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his wife, Brenda Meadows Clark of the home; sons, Woody Leon Meadows (Jaquelyn), Bobby Ray Clark, Jr and James Lee Clark, all of Monroe, NC; sisters, Norma Hodges of Bluefield, WV, Laura Janet “Jeanette Ward and husband, Steven of High Point, NC, Emma Darlene Davis and husband, Randy of Lashmeet, WV, Sheba Ann Ellis and husband, Dennis of Bluefield, WV, and Pamela Victoria Clark of Princeton, WV; grandchildren, Cody Meadows, Bryson Clark, Blake Meadows, Jacob Tyson, Mason Meadows, and Dana Meadows. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Pine Grove Church of Christ with Rev. Randy Davis and Rev. Jerry Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where grandsons and one granddaughter as well as Jordon Dobbs and Joshua Davis will serve as pallbearers. The Mercer County Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
