Bobby Lee Calfee

Bobby Lee Calfee, 73, of Christiansburg, VA and formerly of Welch, WV passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Radford Rehabilitation Center. Born April 30, 1950, in Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Everett and Elizabeth Milam Calfee. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Calfee Green and longtime companion, Debra Elmore.

Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his daughter, Sherry Ciampanella and husband, Sonny of Bluefield, VA; son, Zachary Lee Calfee; fiancé, Nancy Jessee of the home; and grandchildren, Izaiah Ciampanella, Zach Triplett, and Kaylee Triplett.

Bobby enjoyed playing sports and was a talented musician in his youth. Bobby also enjoyed watching sports and attending sporting events. 

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Philip White officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Calfee family.
