Billy Joe Shinault

Billy Joe Shinault, 85, of Knipper Circle, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on May 31, 1935 in Ada, he was a son of the late Clarence and Della Mae Robinett Shinault. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. He was a retired truck driver and was a veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Elizabeth Honaker Shinault and 3 children.

Survivors include 2 sons, Gary (Dee) Shinault and Bobby (Donna) Shinault of Bluefield; daughters, Renee (Gary) Sanders of Bluefield, and Margie (David) Faildley of Princeton; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Doug Shinault of Bluefield and Richard Shinault of NC; sisters Oleta Nunley and Letha Wiley.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Kenneth Abram officiating. Friends may call prior, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.
