Billy Eugene Gullett

Billy Eugene Gullett, Sr., age 78, of Foy Bypass, Bluefield, WV died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on December 5, 1939 in Baileysville, WV, he was a son of Garnet Rose Gullett of Welch, WV and the late Clyde Samuel Gullett. He had lived in Montcalm since 1979 and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ellen “Jig” Gullett; a son, Kenneth Gullett; and a sister, Carol Hawkins.
Survivors include his sons: Billy E. Gullett, Jr. and wife Karen of the home; Ross L. Gullett of the home; Todd S. Gullett and wife Kelly of Montcalm, WV; John S. Gullett of the home; One daughter: Diane Shrewesbury and husband James of Rock, WV. Brothers: Roger Gullett of Wabash, IN; Paul Gullett of Premier, WV; Ronnie Gullett of Welch, WV; David Gullett of Davy, WV and Douglas Gullett of Martinsburg, WV. Sisters: Juanita Thomas of Silver Lake, IN; Ruby Short of Premier, WV and Barbara England of Gary, WV.
Nine grandchildren Jimmy Shrewsbury and wife Ashley; Kasandra Shrewsbury fiancé Eric; Nichole Gullett of Lashmeet, WV; Sarah Gullett of Lashmeet, WV; Breanna Gullett of Montcalm, WV; Halie Gullett of Montcalm, WV; Alexis Gullett of Montcalm, WV; Madison Gullett of California and John Gullett II of California he is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home. He will be buried at a later date at the Shllings Cemetery on Browning Lambert Mountain.
