Beulah Thelma Hodge

Beulah “Toots” Thelma Hodge, age 77, of Anawalt, died on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.Born on January 12, 1940, in Leckie, WV, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emma Gay Newsome Jarvis. She had lived in Anawalt for the past 24 years and was a retired supervisor for the Amoco Oil Corporation. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Hodge and a son, Donald Hodge.Survivors include:Son: Allen Hodge and Debbie of AnawaltBrothers: Kenny Jarvis of Anawalt James Jarvis and wife Nancy of Bristol, TNSister: Shirley Kimble and husband Joe of Franklin, WVGrandson: Jonathan Hodge and wife Hannah of Streamwood, ILGreat-granddaughters: Emily and Bethany HodgeFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Kenneth Abram and Rev. Jimmy Sanson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where pallbearers will be Dewey Winebarger, Michael Jarvis, Dean Winebarger, Dennis Jarvis, Jimmy Jarvis and Joey Jarvis. Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
