Betty Jo Zaporowski

Betty Jo Zaporowski, 76, of Union Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on January 26, 1943 in WV, she was a daughter of the late Garland and Martha Jane Herald Fowler. She had been a resident of Bluefield for most of her life and was a caretaker and was retired from Bluefield Regional Medical Center’s medical records department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Zaporowski; and a brother, Eugene Clark.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Zaporowski of Bluefield, and Kimberly Cole of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Raven, Brandon and Nicholas; three sisters, Darlene Cintron of Princeton, Bonnie Lilly of Princeton, and Judy Akers of Springville, VA; and special friends, Lynn & TJ Copley.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Tuesday prior to service, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
