Betty Jane White

Betty Jane White, 84, of Montcalm, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia.

Betty was born on March 01, 1935 in Rolfe, West Virginia to the late Muncy Atkins Sexton and Nellie B. Warner Sexton. Betty had been a resident of Montcalm, West Virginia for the past 37 years and was a member of the Montcalm United Methodist Church.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Jackson White; four brothers Charles W. Sexton, Joe Sexton, Carl Sexton and William Sexton and three sisters Nancy Sexton, Virginia Taylor and Elizabeth Sexton.

Betty is survived by her two daughters Judith White of Huntsville, Alabama and Susan Santiago and husband Filiberto of Huntsville, Alabama; one granddaughter Emily Santiago of Kissimmee, Florida and a Special nephew Jim Taylor and wife Louise of Elkhorn, West Virginia.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 1:00pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor Melody Rickman officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

The White family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
