Betty Ann Morrison

Betty Ann Morrison, 77, of Bluefield WV went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday, December 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. During her lifetime, Betty was a dedicated Christian, active in the church as a Sunday School teacher and singer. Her love of the Lord was demonstrated on her last day as with a grin on her face she told her family “God is here.” Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and immaculate homemaker. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Paris & Edith Crouch, her sister, Willa Trail, her husband, Paul Morrison, and grandchildren, Heather & PJ Morrison. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, daughter Angelia Simpkins Sheets & Tony of Bluefield, son Joe Morrison & Judy of Bluefield, son James Morrison & Angie of NC, daughter Paula Rose & Kevin of Bluefield, sister Norina Kinsey & Wade of Pliny, WV, brother Vernon Crouch & Michele of Christiansburg. Betty’s grandchildren: Kristie (Jordon) Farmer, Jordan (Adam) Tilley, Aaron (Cassie) Simpkins, Hunter (Ali) Rose, Robyn (Dillon) Holder and Mikel Rose. Her great-grandchildren (who will also be honorary pallbearers): Joanna Farmer, Wyatt Tilley, Lillee Morrison, Wesley Ingram, Luke Tilley, Jac Rose, Foster Rose, Garrison Simpkins, Lacie Tilley, Kileigh Holder, Waylon Simpkins, Salem Holder, and Gracie Simpkins.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2024 at Deliverance Temple Church with Pastor David Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be James Morrison, Aaron Simpkins, Tony Sheets, Adam Tilley, Kevin Rose, Chuck Rose, Hunter Rose and Mikel Rose.
