Barbara Ann Rorrer Hylton, 77, of City View Heights Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her residence. Barbara was born on July 9, 1940 in Crumpler, West Virginia to the late Homer and Bertha Cochran Rorrer. She had been a resident of Princeton, West Virginia for the past twenty one years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Hylton and one son Brian Hylton, two sisters Georgia Bailey and Ruth Ford, two brothers David Rorrer and Charles Rorrer. Survivors include two daughters Carol Nichols and Ashley Hylton of Princeton, West Virginia; Six sisters Pauline Arthur of Hillsville, Virginia, Frances Clark of Bristol, Tennessee, Vera Bailey of Princeton, West Virginia, Nellie Farley of Spanishburg, West Virginia, Patricia Hodges of Bluewell, West Virginia and Rita Collier of Michigan. She is also survived by three grandchildren Steven Nichols, Leanne Nichols and James Hylton and six great grandchildren Kelsey Davis, Kaitlyn Nichols, Timothy Persiani, Jayden Barnes, Kaylee Hylton, Trust Carter and one Goddaughter Barbara East of Bluewell, West Virginia. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Minister Willard Ramsey. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, West Virginia where Jimmy Farley, Tim Ford, DJ Persiani, Larry East, Eddie Hodges and Joe Hodges will be serving as pallbearers. The Hylton family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
