Barbara Ann LaCour

Barbara Ann LaCour, age 75, of Bluefield, WV died on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on September 23, 1944 in Premier, WV she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Edith Workman Spangler. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond LaCour and a sister, Myrtle Rundels.

           Steve McClanahan of Pennsylvania

           Bob McClanahan and wife Nancy of Waukegan, IL

Step-Son: Keith LaCour of Florida

Sisters: Christine Stacy of Bluewell, WV

              Rachel Nester of Bluewell, WV

 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Jonathan Riggins officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM prior to the service.
