Barbara Jean Kenley

Barbara Jean Kenley, 80, of Dry Fork Road, Rocky Gap, VA, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her home.

Born on April 30, 1937 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Theodore R. and Thelma Gay Eller. She had been a resident of Rocky Gap for 36 years and was a retired bus driver for Tazewell County Schools. She had a passionate love for animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Tollefson, a brother, Bill Day, and a son in law, Timothy Barker.

Sons:     Ted (Anita) Jones of Bluefield, VA
             Scott (Anita) Jones of Radford, VA

Daughter:            Terri Barker (Steve Beaty) of Rocky Gap, VA

10 great grandchildren

Stepsons:            Bobby (Cherie) Kenley and Michael (Kathy) Kenley

Stepdaughter:   Myra Johnson

8 step-grandchildren

7 step-great grandchildren

Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Bart Wynegar officiating.

Friends may call prior to services on Thursday, from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home.
