Barbara Ann Kade

After sharing her life with us for 81 years, 6 months, and 16 days, Barbara Ann Kade, of Paintsville, Kentucky, formerly of Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her sister’s home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 30, 2019 following a long illness.

Barbara was born February 14, 1938 at home on Kade Hollow Road, Bluefield, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ernest and Chloie Bibey Kade. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brother, Albert Kade, James “Jimmy” Kade, Melvin Kade and Jerry Kade.

She is survived by one sister, Katherine Pennington and husband Wayne of Paintsville, Kentucky; two brothers, William “Bill” Kade of Hampton, Georgia and Roger Kade of Bluefield, West Virginia., special nephew, Shannon Pennington and special niece. Kresten Pennington both of the home.  Barbara’s most enjoyment was BINGO!!!!  She also liked Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and shopping.

Barbara was a loving sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. We the family feel our loss is heaven's gain and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Wednesday, September 04, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Cravenshires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Ministers Eugene Pennington, Matt Craft and Steve Pendleton officiating the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia where her nephews and cousins will be serving as pallbearers.

The Kade family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, September 04, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
