Barbara Jayne Sizemore

Barbara Jayne Sizemore, 66, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Encompass Health and Rehab in Princeton, WV. Born August 25, 1957 in Welch, WV, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Martin and Mary Juanita Guy Patrick. She had worked and retired in the dietary department of Glenwood Park Retirement Village. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Isaac Sizemore; 5 brothers, Jackie Mullins, Larry Patrick, Danny Patrick, David Wayne Patrick, Eddie “Pete” Patrick; 3 sisters, Carolyn Sue Lockhart, Debra Patrick, Judy Hodges; and Mother and Father in-law, Stephen and Virgie Sizemore.

Those left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her companion of 36 years, Rex Lusk of Bluefield, WV; children, Carolyn Harwell and husband, Brannon and their children, Luna Sizemore-Sheets and Gabriel Sizemore-Sheets of Columbia, SC, and Christopher Stacy Sizemore of Bluefield, WV; brothers, Willie Patrick of Bluefield, WV, and Johnny Patrick and wife, Callie of OH; sister, Tammy Mullins Hoke; and a host of grandchildren.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Also, in keeping with her wishes, her cremains will be interred at Mitchem Ridge Cemetery on Burke Mountain. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Sizemore family.
