Bailey Alan Dickerson

Bailey Alan Dickerson, 18, of Princeton, died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday, May 13, 2018.

Born on June 14, 1999, he was a son of Daniel Lee Dickerson and Chrystal Dawn Dickerson. He had been a lifelong resident of Princeton. Bailey was an amazing young man with a smile and personality that could light up a room. Everyone who knew him loved him.

He is survived by his father, Daniel Lee Dickerson;  his mother, Chrystal Dawn Dickerson; his sister, Brianna Joyce Dickerson; grandfather, Don Dickerson and wife Kathy; grandmother, Debra Vickers-Cottle and husband Andy; many aunts and uncles; a special cousin who was like his brother, Allen Dickerson and wife Danielle. He will also be missed by his girlfriend, Sarah Alexis Young. We all know he was greeted by his grandmother, Joyce Dickerson and his grandfather Charlie Brown; and his aunt Rhonda Dickerson and we know that they will hold him in their arms now that we can’t.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Tom Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at the Grose-Jennings Cemetery in Matoaka where Daniel Dickerson, Greg Dickerson, Allen Dickerson, Chad Neal, Roy Whittaker, and Chad Young will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Friday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
