Arnold Kelly Dillon, Sr.

Arnold Kelly Dillon, Sr., 69, of Filbert, WV, passed Friday, November 17, 2023.

Born August 7, 1954, in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Thomas Ralph Dillon Sr. and Juanita Ellen Fowler. Arnold worked for the city of Gary, WV, and formerly for US Steel.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dillon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Terry Dillon of the home; son, Arnold Kelly Dillon Jr. of Welch, WV; daughter, Tina McCoy and husband Dewayne of Iaeger, WV; grandchildren, Amber Williams and husband Greg, Colton McCoy, and Travis Vanover; great grandchildren, Kyler Williams and Nolan Williams; brothers, Thomas Ralph Dillon, Jr., Jimmie Dillon, and Donald Dillon; and sisters, Carolyn Buchanan and Barbara Jones.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Coe officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
