Ann Price

On Thursday, October 10, 2019, Ann Price of Bluefield, WV, passed away at the age of 72 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on December 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Bethel Shrader. She was a lifelong member of New Salem United Methodist Church, where she led the church’s prayer ministry, taught Sunday School, and worked with the children. She worked for nearly 40 years at First Community Bank in Bluewell in a variety of positions and was loved and respected by coworkers and patrons alike.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by husband C.D. Price, grandson Brian K. Shrader II, and brother Joe Shrader.

Survivors include her two daughters, Vickie Taylor and husband Barry of Hartford City, IN, and Angela Price of Princeton, WV; three grandchildren, Joshua Taylor, Hope Taylor, and Bryson Shrader and wife Courtney. Also surviving are her brother R.K. Shrader and wife Juanita of Georgia, and sister Carolyn Barnett and husband John of Bluefield, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Ray Lynch and Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
