Alvin "Little Man" Gene Wise

Alvin Gene "Little Man" Wise, 54, of Vista Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Glenwood Retirement Village in Glenwood, West Virginia. Alvin was born on January 27, 1964 at Grace Hospital in Welch, West Virginia to Dora Ellen Hunt Wise and the late Homer C. Wise. Alvin had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife Patty Wise and Brother Kevin Dean Wise. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Dora Ellen Hunt Wise and companion Gary Hill of Bluefield, West Virginia; one brother Larry D. Wise and wife Debbie of Princeton, West Virginia; five sisters Judy Lynn Miller of Bluefield, West Virginia; Kimberly Dawn Wise of Statesville, North Carolina; Wilma Sue Bailey and husband Doug of Wytheville, Virginia; Nancy Dreama Anderson of Princeton, West Virginia and Lealia B. Meier of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 01, 2018 at 11:00 am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Minister Tony Reed officiating the service.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The Wise family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, May 01, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
