**In Loving Memory of Alfred Keller**
Alfred Keller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, was born on July 19, 1944, in Eckman, West Virginia, to William and Gladys (Skeens) Keller. He passed away peacefully at his home in Bluewell, West Virginia, on March 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Alfred met the love of his life, Goldie (Rose) Keller, in 1964. Their bond was undeniable, and in 1966 they promised to stand by each other through all of life’s storms. Together, they created a beautiful family, nurturing five children and fostering a life filled with love and compassion. Their 58 years of marriage exemplified the strength of their commitment to one another.
Alfred is survived by his devoted wife Goldie, his son Thomas Keller (Misty) of Tobaccoville, NC, and daughters Rita Warden (Teddy) of Bluewell, WV, Sally McDaniel of Princeton, WV, and Amanda Pilkins (Mark) of Bluefield, WV, son-in-law, David Cowick of King, NC, and cherished his legacy through 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was a loving brother to John Keller (Sherry), Lacy Keller, and Aubry (Skinner) Keller, as well as a caring brother to his sisters Dianna Baker (Eric), Verta Newman, and Sue Grossi. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Susan Cowick, son-n-law Joey Mcdaniel, grandson-n-law Derek Mullins and several brothers and sisters whose memory he cherished.
In particular, he loved his two nephews, James (Jimmy) Keller (Cindy) and Terry Dale Keller (Dreama), who were like sons to him, standing by their side throughout their life and held a special place in his heart.
In accordance with Alfred’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held in his honor on March 29, 2025, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home.The memorial will be from 12-2 and service from 2-3
Alfred Keller will be missed deeply by some but loved dearly by all who had the privilege to know him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who mourn his passing and celebrate the life he lived.
