Alex William Cordle

Alex William Cordle, 66, of Prince Street, Princeton, WV, went to meet his Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at his home.

Born on October 27, 1953 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Herman J. and Dorothy Mitchem Cordle. He had been a resident of Princeton since 1992 and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Ridgeview Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scotti Cordle; a brother, Rev. Herman Cordle, Jr.; and a sister, Dreama Dowell.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Rocchetti Cordle of the home; sons, Jared Cordle and fiancé Amber Dowell of Princeton, Cory Cordle of Princeton, Tommy Cordle of Princeton, and Steve Cordle of Welch; 4 grandchildren, Tori, Christian, Knollan Cordle and Nathan Carden; a brother, Timothy Cordle of Beckley; and a sister in law, Brenda Cordle of Lashmeet.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Lusk Family Cemetery in Beartown on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM with Rev. L. A. Farmer officiating.

Friends wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at service time.
