Agnes Gail May, 55, of Warden Avenue (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at her home. Born on August 6, 1962, in Bluefield, she had been a resident of Bluewell for 25 years and was a member of the Crossroads Church. Agnes was a graduate of Graham High School and she was a caregiver. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Agnes left her imprint of kindness and generosity everywhere she went. In addition to her mother, Shirley Mitchem, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Bowles and a granddaughter JoLeigh Lucas. Survivors include: Loving Husband:               Randy May of the home Son:       Matthew May and companion Haley of Bluewell Daughter:            Monica Lucas and Matt of Princeton, WV 2 grandchildren whom she adored:          Jacob and Jax Lucas Father: Howard Mitchem of Princeton Sister:   Mona Rose and husband Doug of Bluefield, WV Brothers:             Pete Mitchem and wife Cheryl of Falls Mills, VA                                 Clifford Mitchem and wife Jamie of Bluefield, WV She is also survived by a special cousin, Linda Brown and lifelong friend Vanessa Bryant. Agnes leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:00PM with Minister Travis Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com.
