Aaron "Shorty" Lee Poff

Aaron Lee “Shorty” Poff, 73, of Nature Lane (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on June 18, 1944 on Browning Lambert Mtn., Rock, he was a son of the late Troy Wilson and Kathleen Taylor Poff. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a graduate of Montcalm High School and Bluefield State College. He was an active lobbyist for handicapped and disabled persons. Survivors include: Companion:       Lynn Burnopp of Bluefield Brother:               Brent Poff and wife Sherry of Apex, NC                     Niece:   Katie Lynn Poff of Apex, NC Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 2:30PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev.
