Dennis Dale Hodges, 68, of Red Oak Ridge Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at his residence from Leukemia due to exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam Conflict.                 Dennis was born on October 10, 1948 in Ashland, West Virginia to Laura Webb Hodges of Rock, West Virginia and the late Frank Hodges. Dennis was a retired coal mine Foreman and a cross country tractor-trailer driver. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Brushfork Church of God.                 He was preceded in death by his father Frank Hodges.                                     Left to cherish his memory is his wife Yana Charise Semonco Hodges of the home; one son Dennis Franklin Hodges and wife Danielle of Raleigh, North Carolina; one daughter Katherine Seyward Pack and Husband John of Princeton, West Virginia; his mother Laura Webb Hodges of Rock, West Virginia; one brother Anthony Hodges and wife Tanya of Rock, West Virginia and one sister Diane Wellman and husband Larry of Princeton, West Virginia. He also is survived by five grandchildren Alexia Garrett, McKenzie Garrett, Abby May Pack, Tristan Hodges and Joseph Pack. Special friend and caregiver Sharon Richards of Canonsburg, PA.                 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Pastor Sam Chaffin officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia with friends and family serving as pallbearers and Military graveside rites will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. `                 The Hodges family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
