Seldon Edward French

Seldon Edward “Pelon” French, 49, of Radford, VA, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017.   Born on September 19, 1967 in Columbus, OH, he was a son of the late Martha Lynne Peery French of Bluefield and the late Cheaster Blaine Griffith of Bland, VA and step-father John French of Bland, VA. Seldon was always a self-employed hustler and hardworking man that always provided for his children. He will always be loved, remembered, and missed by many.   He will lovingly be remembered by his 8 children: Andrew Edward French and wife Miranda Lee French of Max Meadows, VA; Nicole Leigh French, Michaela Lynne French, Kendra Gail French, Malachi Alexander French, Damian Lee Tiller of Radford, VA; Micah Paul Kiser and wife Desiree Eloise Kiser of Bluewell, and Christopher Shawn Compton and companion Cassandra Ranae Tait of Princeton; eight loving grandchildren, Aiden Cash French, Layla Marie French, Ryan Austin Kiser, Hunter Gavin Kiser, Abigail Renea Kiser, Larissa Jade Compton, Laken Justine Compton and Lindsey Joelle Compton. Also his bother Harry Stone French and the mother(s) of his children Lisa French and companion Eric Pastrana, Melissa French and Kathy Lester.   Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Whitey Taylor officiating the service.    The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of his memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
