Frances Alice Bowman

Frances Alice Bowman, 82, of Tuggle Hollow Road, Montcalm, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her home.   Born on December 25, 1934 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Lona Poore Church. She had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm and was a homemaker.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Maynard Bowman; and a son, Larry Bowman.   Survivors include:   Daughter:            Brenda Kay Kendrick and husband Dale of Montcalm   Son:       Jerry Wayne Bowman and wife Charlene of Princeton   7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren   2 brothers:          Tommy Church of Roanoke, VA                                 Glenn Church of Roanoke, VA   5 sisters:              Jean Vinca of PA                                 Patty Francisco of Bluefield, WV                                 Dixie Gilley of Salem, VA                                 Virginia Robinson of Bramwell                                 Vickie Frazier of Northfork   Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Paul Delida officiating.
